A 7-Day Challenge To Get What You Want
Hello and Welcome!
What do you want the most now?
Do you want more clients or customers? Do you want more money? Do you want a luxurious lifestyle? Do you want loving relationships? Do you want vibrant health? Do you want more peace and happiness?
It really doesn’t matter what you want. You can have it all provided you get YOURSELF out of the way!
Yes, you heard me right.
We get certain things in our lives with so much ease, in fact without much effort. At the same time, there are many things which we struggle to have in spite of our mighty efforts. Have you ever wondered why?
What stops us from getting what we really want is our own words, thoughts, and emotions.
You might be wanting more customers, but at the same time if you are either talking to a friend or to yourself about how bad the industry or the world economy is, then you have said a big NO to more customers. Your own words betrayed you!
The same applies to your thoughts and emotions.
You might want to buy your dream car Mercedes Benz, but every time you see a Mercedes Benz on the road, if your thought goes, “Oh, if only I had money,” or “God only knows when I am going to make so much money,” then you have once again said a big NO to what you want. Your own thoughts betrayed you.
I can go on and on with many such examples, like a girl who has been wanting to get married feeling bad every time she sees a happy couple or a businessman feeling jealous and frustrated when his competitor is doing good.
Every time you look at something that you want or somebody who has what you want and you feel bad, you are saying a big NO again. Your own feelings betrayed you.
For the next one week, observe your own words, thoughts, and emotions throughout the day. You will be surprised at the number of NOs you keep saying to yourself.
It’s time to get yourself out of your way.
How can you do that?
By saying YES of course!
For the next one week, whenever you think or hear or see something that you really want, tell yourself, “I am saying YES!”
When you are checking your bank account and find it to be low and a feeling of anxiety comes in, catch yourself saying NO to money, and at that moment say out loud or silently to yourself, “I am saying YES to a huge bank balance.”
Every time you look at your dream car on the road, say out loud or silently to yourself, “I am saying YES to this lovely car.”
To sum it up, what is stopping you from getting what you want is yourself. You do that by saying NO in the form of your own words, thoughts and emotions.
From now on, start saying YES to what you want.
It is a simple two-step process:
Catch yourself saying NO.
Start saying YES.
