5 Powerful Tips To Overcome Procrastination

Hello and Welcome!

This was a question asked by one of the participants of the Money Breakthrough In 28 Days™ program, “I am lacking in taking action. I have ideas but actions are not happening. Once I reach my office I am unable to complete my actions even though I have a to do list. How can I come out of this?”

Are you someone who is procrastinating, postponing and not completing your actions?

Most importantly, do you beat yourself up for not taking action?

This is for you.

My name is Vigneswari Abraham, friends and well-wishers call me VA. I am an Abundance Frequency "Energy" coach and creator of Money Breakthrough In 28 Days™ program.

In this blog, I am going to share with you 5 simple yet powerful success tips to overcome procrastination and start taking bigger and bolder actions.

Read till the end because the fifth tip is a very interesting one and I have saved the best for the end!

Success Tip #1: Free Your Mind!

What is the purpose of your mind?

Is it to hold your to-do list - I have to pay this bill, I have to call that person, I should post on Social Media....or is it to come up with creative ideas to help you achieve your goals?

If you are someone who is holding all your to-do tasks in your mind, use a notebook, excel, notepad or online organizer and write down every single task that comes to your mind. Keep adding to the list as and when something shows up.

Success Tip #2: Keep It Simple

A lot of times people procrastinate and postpone things because they overwhelm themselves by saying I want to complete these 10 tasks today, I want to call 20 prospects every day, I want to make 5 presentations every day.

So your mind feels overwhelmed and shuts down, and instead you end up spending time on Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram and watching movies and web series.

To overcome this challenge, go through your To Do List before going to bed every day and decide the Top 3 Priority tasks you want to complete the next day. That would be 15 to 18 tasks total in a week, not more than that.

Anything else you want to do, move it to “Perhaps” list, which means you might do it if you have the time or the mood.

Success Tip #3: Get It Done & Celebrate

You only have 3 Top Priority tasks every day. Get it done!

Most importantly, after completing each task, pause for a moment and celebrate. Say out loud “Wow, I have done it!” Appreciate yourself, take your right hand and pat yourself.

Self-love and self-appreciation is one of the key factors for success.

Success Tip #4: Delegate & Appreciate

Are you a perfectionist? Do you try to do everything by yourself? Are you unwilling to receive support from others either at home or at work?

Version 1 is better than Version 0. Do what you alone can do. Rest - Delegate.

Most importantly, appreciate others for the work done.

Success Tip #5: Have a Theme Day

What are the repetitive tasks in your work or business?

Instead of trying to do everything every day or whenever you feel like....have a theme day.

Let me give you my example. Sundays & Wednesdays are LIVE sessions for the current batches of the Money Breakthrough In 28 Days™ program, Tuesdays & Saturdays are webinar days to enroll new participants, first Monday and third Monday of every month are followup days for the past participants, Fridays are content creation or value addition days, so on and so forth.

"A time for everything, everything in its time" - Mahatria Ra

Instead of leaving things to your mood or time availability every day, list down the repetitive tasks in your work/business. Have a theme day. It works like MAGIC!

Do you love the Theme Day concept?
